ABOUT TEACHING WITH BOECKX

Welcome to Teaching with Boeckx (sounds like Books 🙂). I've been teaching elementary kids for over ten years in North Carolina.  I've been in every grade except fifth and I've been in fourth for the last six years.

Working with kids, watching them learn, and sharing my love of reading is my passion and brings me the greatest joy.  Being able to share my perspective with you is a bonus!

I live at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains with my family and my German Shepherd Gus. On the weekends we're out and about having fun. I love traveling around the world and bringing back treasures to my students - hopefully showing them the importance of learning about the world outside our tiny town.
